“Duende” is a portrait of artist Alberto Garcia Alvarez made entirely in his own words and images. “Duende” provides the reader with an intimate insight into the artist’s reflections and expressions of his attitude towards life and his work.
A compilation of essays, poems and correspondence written by Alberto with images of his creative output taken from over eighty years of artistic production, this limited first edition of “Duende” comes in a single volume of 576 pages in full colour, section sewn within a hardcover binding. Each volume has been personally autographed by Alberto.
This compendium includes a preface written by Alberto’s son Pablo Garcia McEntire, who selected and arranged the works for the book.
